Senator Little moved that SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 69(RLS) am S be returned to second reading for the purpose of a specific amendment, that being Amendment No. 4. Senator Taylor objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further objections, the bill was returned to second reading. Senator Little offered Amendment No. 4 as corrected: Page 5, line 11: After "shall" add: "complete the registration of the sex offender and" Page 5, line 17: After "reside" add: "; and (3) the village public safety officer of the rural community without a municipal police officer or a trooper post in which the inmate will reside." 1994-03-03 Senate Journal Page 3062 HB 69 Senator Little moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 4 as corrected. Senator Donley moved that SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 69(RLS) am S be returned to second reading for the purpose of a specific amendment, that being Amendment No. 5. Without objection, the bill was returned to second reading. Senator Donley offered Amendment No. 5 : Page 7: Add new section 13 and renumber other sections as appropriate: "*Sec. 13. The Department of Public Safety shall uniformly enforce the provisions of this Act throughout the state regardless of the geographical location of the residence of the offender." Senator Donley moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of Amendment No. 5. Without objection, Amendment No. 5 was adopted.
